My sister introduced us to Shoba when she came to teach my parents how to cook a few family favourites – Vindaloo and Jalfreezi. She was entertaining and an amazing teacher. Hi Shoba, Well what a night we had on Saturday and what a result! Not one drop of curry was left by friends at Church on Sunday; I made such a delicious meal and was asked by many for my recipe. Mark my son who had never tried to make a curry before Saturday night is now determined to cook curries. I just like to say thanks you for the big effort you put in and the enthusiasm and passion you have reflects in taste of the food we cooked.

I have been a lover of Curry's since a child growing up in the North of England. Can I also say you not only just explained what ingredients worked best together and how to prepare them for the cooking by leading' us in preparation of the food this got us both involved so while we were prepping the food we talked about what and why's about preparing and the spices being used. How you managed in my small kitchen so much in one night was amazing as you said it's about been clean and tidy washing and putting away utensils and products as you go along. Something I need to remember in the future.

Then to top it was the secrete bits that I will not mention in fear others may copy. But those passed down family secrets certainly made a taste difference that will be now passed down my family line when training the grandchildren, the secrets of making wholesome classic Indian Food. We could give your lessons as Birthday and Christmas presents to family and friends we know who love to cook. So many ideas come to mind you may need hours in your week! Paul, Wangara, Perth.

Hi my name is Varusha Zacharias and I did a lesson with Shoba on how to make Lamb Biryani (Rice Dish with Lamb). It was a very informative and enjoyable lesson, the Biryani turned out exactly how I wanted it ... it was delicious, my whole family loved it and I have been making it ever since.
